SALI-SOLV SA also known as Curcylic 40 is a pre-solubilized, water-soluble form of Salicylic Acid (36–44% USP grade) designed for safe and effective skin care, OTC acne, and dandruff formulations. This amber, viscous liquid is clear, cold-processable, and free from precipitation or crystallization, ensuring ease of use and handling in a wide range of products .
As a keratolytic agent, SALI-SOLV SA gently and safely exfoliates dead skin cells, accelerating natural cell turnover to reveal clearer, smoother, and brighter skin. It penetrates and softens keratin, breaks apart desmosomes in the epidermis, and stimulates collagen, elastin, and fibrillin synthesis, leading to visible improvements in texture, fine lines, mottled pigmentation, and overall youthful appearance .
SALI-SOLV SA has been shown to perform better than traditional salicylic acid and glycolic acid in reducing wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and roughness — while being non-irritating, non-drying, and alcohol-free.
