Lanolin Alcohol is a highly purified mixture of aliphatic alcohols, steroid alcohols, and triterpenoid alcohols obtained by hydrolysis of USP grade lanolin — the natural fat of sheep wool. It functions as an emollient and viscosity builder in a wide range of cosmetic formulations including lipsticks, lip balms, antiperspirant sticks, lotions, creams, and hand creams.
